About Sue

All my students have found success with the flute under my training: admittance to special programs, advancing in ensemble seating, college acceptance and scholarships, success at winning professional auditions, or just pride in personal achievement. I am patient and encouraging and will never expect more than what a student can produce. We work at your pace unless you prefer to do otherwise.

About the lesson

I have taught at several universities and at private and public schools in the United States and abroad and have coached members of the Marine Band wind ensembles. and have taught in an El Sistema program. I have played thousands of concerts in the United States and in Europe with the world's greatest conductors. I have currently completed 10 books of Suzuki training and have taught students as young as 4 and as old as 78. I have coached recitals and auditions at top universities, military bands and professional orchestras. I have started hundreds of beginners as well. I also have amateur students in other professions. I am happy to teach anyone who wants to learn.
