About Owen
My passion for French began over a decade ago when I discovered the elegance of its rhythm and the richness of its culture. Teaching quickly became my path to share that love with students from every corner of the world. Over the years, I’ve guided learners through conversations, certifications, and cultural understanding, watching them grow into confident speakers and curious global thinkers. My teaching philosophy is simple: languages are not memorized, they’re experienced. Learning French with me is an experience that blends communication, culture, and confidence. My lessons focus on helping students live the language through natural dialogue, interactive exercises, and cultural immersion. I believe that language learning should never be limited to grammar—it should be a creative process that brings emotion, curiosity, and connection into every session.
For beginners, I emphasize pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and listening comprehension through music, visual cues, and guided speaking practice. Intermediate students deepen their grammar and expand vocabulary with structured exercises and engaging discussions. Advanced learners focus on refining their fluency, exploring idiomatic expressions, and mastering persuasive and academic writing. I also incorporate cultural themes—art, cinema, and history—to provide context and meaning behind every phrase.
