About Sami
I am a science and maths tutor with 5 years of tutoring experience with demonstrable success. I have supported a range of GCSE, A level and undergraduate students to achieve high quality results which they initially thought were out of their reach.
I believe that every student has the potential to achieve the best results, they just need the right environment. I am motivated by providing this environment and seeing my students excel in their exams and wider life. I do this by understanding the unique academic and emotional needs of each student and then working to create a tailored plan which covers the specific contents of the student's syllabus and allows them the opportunity to constantly test their knowledge. This means that students cover the syllabus in detail and gain confidence from seeing demonstrable results in small chunks. I also encourage my students to take charge of their learning and to trust their knowledge when confronted by exam style questions. As a result my students understand the topics well, are comfortable with exam questions, are confident in their learning and so excel in their exams.
I gain satisfaction by identifying and removing the barriers to success in my students and then seeing them excel.
