About Garrett
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
My lessons include guitar fundamentals, scales, rhythm exercises, fingerstyle techniques, chord transitions, music theory, and song learning. I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly and apply them through practical exercises and real songs.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and individual attention. I believe every student deserves lessons that match their learning style and personal goals. I create a friendly atmosphere where students can learn confidently without pressure.
One of my strengths is helping students overcome challenges and build confidence. I explain concepts in simple language and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement.

My teaching methodology is centered on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I believe that learning music should help students develop technical skills while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
I teach Guitar through a structured approach that starts with rhythm exercises, chord formations, finger techniques, and strumming patterns. As students advance, I introduce scales, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and music theory concepts. Lessons are designed to balance technical development with creative exploration.
Communication helps me build strong relationships with students and understand their goals. Creativity allows me to make lessons engaging through songs, projects, and practical exercises. Flexibility helps me personalize lessons according to the student's pace and learning preferences.
Apart from Guitar, I can also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and performance skills. My aim is to help students become knowledgeable, expressive, and confident musicians who enjoy music throughout their lives.
