About John

I'm 38 and I have taught guitar for 13 years for young and older players to advance their playing and keep it simple and fun with the goals in mind. I like to learn what people like for a cover song as a goal after the basic fundamentals have been reached to obtain the medium level of playing.

About the lesson

Simple straight forward guitar lessons that are affordable and fun to advance from your current skills and guitar related goals. I teach blues, rock, metal and how to learn the basic fundamentals to the advance techniques that would round out your playing and even how to work on guitar solo improvisation to songwriting do's and don'ts.

Very nice easy to work with person and he's got a good grasp of knowledge with guitar so teaching him how to spice up his playing is a easy task for a good teacher

Kevin has a good sense of rhythm we just need to focus on some single picking arpeggios scales and different techniques and chord voicing to enrich his playing and technical skills.

He did very well, I was impressed with his ability to play single notes but chord rhythms will need improvement with the basic fundamentals that will round out his playing. Another lesson this week.
