About Emerson
I am a professional guitarist, recording artist, and qualified music educator with a degree from the São Paulo Music College in Brazil and over 25 years of teaching experience. Music has been my life for more than 25 years. I’ve had the privilege of recording, performing, and studying different styles — but what fulfils me most is sharing this passion with others. I teach because I believe every student has a unique musical voice waiting to be discovered. My goal is not only to build strong technique and theory but also to help students express themselves, gain confidence, and create their own music. For me, teaching isn’t just about showing how to play guitar — it’s about guiding people to connect deeply with music, unlock creativity, and enjoy the journey of becoming musicians in their own right.
