About Ned
Hi, I’m Ned — a young, enthusiastic, and patient guitar teacher who’s been playing since I was a kid. I love working with beginners, anyone feeling a bit nervous, or players who want to level up their skills and improve their technique. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and always at your own pace, so you can build confidence while actually enjoying playing. I’m mainly a blues and rock guitarist, but I can teach any style on both acoustic and electric guitar. I tailor each lesson to your goals — whether that’s learning your favourite songs, improving technique, or just becoming a more confident player. I’ve got a Level 3 Diploma in Music Technology from the BRIT School and know my way around recording music. I also write and record my own material, and I’m happy to offer tips on guitars, amps, effects, and recording techniques along the way.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to sharpen your skills, we’ll focus on what keeps you motivated — from songs and styles you enjoy to building strong fundamentals that stick. I cover a wide range of styles including rock, pop, blues, jazz, classical, and folk, and teach throughout the week to fit around your schedule. Alongside playing, I also bring in my knowledge of music technology and recording, so if you’re interested in tone, gear, or creating your own music, I can help guide you through that too.
