About Charles
I have worked professionally as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, while teaching part time at the college level, for over 25 years. I have taught hundreds of students in that time, very many who have gone on to successful and rewarding careers in the field. I’ve also had the honor of working with some of the best creative studios, and corporations in the world.

My teaching approach is, philosophically, a practical one. I understand the value of intense instruction, but, believe that without being a good listener, I am only a reciter of methods. The real-world, hands on, experience I’ve had working directly with clients all around the country, gives me a unique position to understand not just how an illustration or design project should be completed, professionally, but, why.
The conceptual approach to visual problem solving opens many doors to a more successful solution.
