About Eli
I have been a professional illustrator for over 30 years, and I am probably best known for writing, penciling, and inking a comic book called The Tick. I've been using Photoshop since the late 90's and I am 100% self-taught. This means that I approach Photoshop in an intuitive way, and I do not always use the tools the way that others teach them. I've collected quite a bag of tricks over the years that I would love to share with anyone who is a beginner or intermediate user, to help them accomplish amazing visual feats. I have taught art to children many, many times, so my patience level is high, and I like to keep things fun and engaging. Photoshop can be frustrating when you're new at it, or even when you're not - Let me take the frustration out and put the knowledge and enjoyment in!

My lessons are built around your needs. Photoshop is so incredibly robust it's almost impossible to know every aspect of it. But after 25 years of using it, I'm pretty close! I enjoy teaching art to kids, so my mindset is that we are all beginners at something. And for more advanced users, I am sure that I can provide insights into the program's tools, useful shortcuts to cut down workflow time, and new methods to achieve stunning results. I like to make learning fun, and I use a soft touch. (Note: I am an illustrator and graphic designer, not a photo retouch/enhannce or Lightroom specialist)
