About Felicity
As a violin instructor with 12 years of experience, I have had the privilege of teaching school students, college students, and working professionals with different musical interests and ambitions. I enjoy helping students express themselves and grow through music.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, motivation, and lifelong learning. I believe that each student deserves personalised guidance and encouragement. By creating a supportive environment, I help students achieve steady progress while enjoying the learning process.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully helped many students improve their playing abilities and gain confidence. One of my most meaningful achievements has been seeing students continue their musical journey with dedication and enthusiasm.
My goal is to inspire students to become confident musicians and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, understanding, and support. I recognise that every student has unique strengths, so I adjust my lessons to match their individual needs and abilities.
In violin instruction, I focus on posture, bowing techniques, rhythm, finger coordination, and note reading. I ensure students understand the basics thoroughly before moving to advanced levels. This helps build strong technical confidence.
I provide constructive feedback and encourage consistent practice habits. I believe that regular encouragement helps students stay motivated and enjoy learning.
Besides violin, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm exercises. These subjects strengthen musical knowledge and overall performance ability.
My goal is to help students become independent learners and confident musicians.
