About Dana
I am an experienced piano tutor with 10 years of teaching students from diverse backgrounds. My teaching philosophy is to create a supportive, motivating, and structured learning environment where students can progress at their own pace while developing technical skill, musical understanding, and creativity.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them gain confidence and achieve recognition for their talent. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, and I encourage students to explore their creativity and develop a unique musical voice.

In piano lessons, I focus on technical skills, rhythm, musicality, and creative expression, combining structured exercises with creative pieces to make learning enjoyable and effective. I maintain open communication, encouraging students to ask questions, share challenges, and reflect on progress.
Supportiveness is central to my approach—I patiently guide students through difficulties, celebrate every success, and help them build confidence and motivation. This approach also extends to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, composition, and ear training.
My aim is to provide a positive, engaging, and inspiring environment where students can develop skill, creativity, self-confidence, and a lifelong passion for music and learning.
