About John
Hello! My name is John Baek.
I am a native Korean speaker who has lived and studied in both South Korea and the United States. Before coming to the U.S., I completed three years of university study in Korea and served 2 years and 6 months in the Korean military.
After moving to the United States, I transferred directly into the University of California, Irvine (UCI) as a junior and earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics. I also completed graduate-level studies at the USC Marshall School of Business.
Having experienced both Korean and American cultures, I understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Korean. My lessons focus on practical conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and real-life communication.
Whether you are learning Korean for travel, business, family, or personal interest, I will help you build confidence and achieve your language goals in a friendly and supportive environment.
