About Janet
Most students initially come to me so frustrated with math that they actually hate it. After a couple of sessions, they realize math doesn't have to be scary. I work very hard to teach the way students learn. It is different for each student. In the process, students learn math and have a much better attitude towards mathematics.
I value the student and the learning therefore, students learn to trust the process of learning. Some even learn to like math.

I have taught math 6th grade through college and tutored privately as needed. I have enjoyed my career and would like to continue helping students learn math.
I believe all students can learn math. Learning should be a partnership between teacher and student. I have successfully taught all levels of mathematics including college.
