About Daud
I have been a professional teacher for the past 7 years and currently teach at a high school in the South London area. My specialist subject is Maths and teach from KS2 providing 11plus exam prep, up to A-Levels. Teaching for this length of time has allowed me to gain a vast understanding of the national curriculum which I am able to implement in my lessons so that students can continually progress and achieve results higher than they are predicted.
I like to make maths fun and engaging for students! I create positive bonds with my students and allow them the time and freedom to ask me any questions regarding the work. I like to create a calm, relaxing and safe environment in which the students can thrive in.
I carefully construct and plan my lessons according to my students needs and levels, and provide them with work which will enable them to make progress in their learning. All students are expected to work hard and put in effort with me, and all work is to be completed.
For the last 7 years I have been teaching maths in high schools across South London which has allowed me to become an effective and efficient teacher. I worked with students with ECHP (or SEND) at a specialist centre for a year before getting my qualification to be a professional teacher, training at the prestigious Goldsmiths University.
During my time as a professional teacher, I have also tutored so that I can keep up with developments at all levels of education. I specialise in 11plus exam preparation, GCSE exam prep, and A-level exam prep.
My success is my students progress, no matter their starting level or grade.
