About David

I am a Songwriter, Guitarist, Singer & Drummer who recently graduated from the British Institute of Modern Music in Brighton last year and I am now available to teach online. Although I specialise in drums and songwriting, I am also an accomplished guitarist. My biggest accolades include being a finalist in the 2019 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition and performing at Glastonbury Festival 2019 with my band 'Roma Palace' aswell as having music played on various BBC Stations. So whether you're looking to pick up an instrument for the first time or want to get back into it, I will definitely have something for you!

About the lesson

I understand that everybody learns completely differently so I will always spend some time truly learning about what your specific needs and desires are as well as your unique learning style and then work to accommodate them so you can leave every single lesson feeling like you have learnt something and are excited to come back and keep working! Music should always be fun and although it's not always easy, whatever it is you decide to learn, you will know that it's worth it!

Perfect! David has been brilliant at teaching me singing. I’m a complete beginner and he has a friendly, easy manner which put me immediately at ease. He has a clear lesson plan so I’ve felt I’m making good progress each week. David has a great knowledge of music which underpins everything and makes you feel confident about learning something new. Right from the start David’s communication was clear and friendly so it was easy to get the lessons booked in. I would highly recommend David.

She is very eager and enthusiastic to learn any new thing that is presented to her, however easy or difficult she will give it her best try and listen actively to instructions. David has really helped be grasp the basic knowledge of the drum kit in only a few lessons, he's very helpful and really easy to talk to which really helps me understand and breakdown anything that I'm struggling to understand.
