About Charlie
I have been giving private lessons for over 6 years and taught students of a variety of ages and with a variety of different goals ranging from learning the guitar as a hobby to studying towards ABRSM and Trinity graded exams. In addition, I am also currently studying towards a PGCE in Music which will qualify me as a secondary school music teacher.

I am a professional musician and have composed music for a huge variety of genres ranging from folk to metal and from jazz to hip hop. As well as having recently graduated from The University of Southampton with a music degree I have also achieved grade 8 in the electric guitar and music theory. No matter what a student's aspirations are I endeavour to tailor every lesson towards the style of music they enjoy playing and listening to.
