About Rob
For the past few years, I have been performing on cruise ships and sailing around the world doing what I love, and I am now settling down with my pregnant kiwi partner in NZ. I want to continue this musical journey and do what I can to help anyone that wishes to pick up the instrument, as doing what you love is the best.
I have a Professional Musicianship degree from a well-regarded and leading music university in the UK, called BIMM. This gave me priceless industry knowledge and skills I want to pass on.

I like to start the first couple of lessons assessing what goals you want to achieve, and what level you are currently at. I will give you lots of different exercises and practice routines for you to work on in your own time so then we can progress further each lesson until you reach your desired goal. I also like to incorporate music theory to not only perform the songs, but to understand them, and use the building blocks to then incorporate in your own style. The main thing is to enjoy it! Playing the guitar can sometimes be frustrating when you can’t nail it straight away, so I like to use a slow and gentle approach so you can really have fun with whatever you desire to play, and also learn what it means to be a musician.
