About John

I have been a professional musician for 45 years. I have played with many bands in studio and concert environments. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and also sing. I’m concentrating on teaching the guitar because for me it’s the most enjoyable instrument and has always given me the most pleasure and would love to teach people of all ages what the gift of music playing gives to me and would love for you to experience that same feeling. I will teach you everything you need to know about exercises, scales, chords and soloing. I will teach you at a later stage guitar maintenance, re-stringing, amplifier settings plus many more essential skills to look after your equipment. 1st lesson is always free

If you are a first-timer picking a guitar up for the first time or a seasoned player looking for some help with specific styles we are here to help. Whether it be rock, funk or pop we can help you achieve your goals. First-timers will be taught everything from exercises, scales, chords and solos. We will have you playing your first song in no time.
