About Neil
I have been giving lessons in Violin and Viola since I graduated from the Guildhall School of Music in 1987. I have years of experience of one-to-one, small groups and Whole Class Tuition. In my career I have taught hundreds of students, of all ages, all standards from beginner to advanced level

I start off with warm-ups which usually consist of rhythm games, exercises (Note reading using flash cards) and so on. Depending on the standard of the pupil, scales are treated as important for developing their technique. Great fun lessons.
