About Jonathan
I have been playing guitar for over 25 years and teaching guitar for over 15 years. I have taught at corporate music centers and independently (I currently do both). I am a professional musician in the local area - I have participated as lead guitarist and lead singer in various local bands. I currently co-produce a local music journal. I have also championed songwriting groups, open mic nights, and student-run musical projects (e.g. recitals) throughout the years.

Ages 7+. I have taught students from age 7 - age 70. I take an individualized approach based on where you are as a learner, what you want to learn, and your learning style. I have a diverse range of students - everything from teenage bassists to seasoned songwriters. You'll find that I am friendly, approachable, and easy to learn with. Anyone who wants to learn guitar is capable with practice and dedication. I would love to meet you where you are!
