My background covers classical, acoustic, and electric guitar, as well as ukulele, allowing me to adapt to each student’s preferred style and goals. As a professional musician and native of Puerto Rico with years of performance and teaching experience, I offer guitar and ukulele lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. My background as a musician, combined with my academic discipline as a Biology student, has taught me how to blend creativity with structured learning.
Teaching Method & Techniques
I focus on building strong fundamentals in technique, rhythm, and musicality while encouraging creativity and personal expression. Lessons combine exercises, chord progressions, scales, ear training, and repertoire chosen to match the student’s style preferences—whether classical, acoustic, or electric.
Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up – Finger exercises, tuning, and brief review of previous skills.
Technique Practice – Chords, scales, or picking exercises.
Song/Repertoire Work – Learning or refining a piece suited to the student’s level.
