About George

Hi, I'm George. I've been teaching for 10+ years from all ages. I teach privately, in schools and I run workshops. I specialise in guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele and music theory tuition. I also have a First Class Honours Degree in music. Here's a bit more about me and my work below:

I'm a professional musician who is current in the music industry. Highly experienced in the studio recording on multiple albums, live performances with world-tour experience and live radio sessions such as BBC Radio. I'm a high-calibre multi-instrumentalist with a vast amount of skills & knowledge.

A brief overview of my career has seen me perform at Reading & Leeds festival, support the likes of Greenday, Royal Blood, The Hives, The Darkness and Nothing But Thieves etc. I'm also a songwriter and a composer, and songs I'm affiliated with have 25,000,000+ streams on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

About the lesson

My style of teaching focuses in depth on the basic foundations, so as to build a greater complexity further down the line. I take my lessons and my students very seriously, I always have lesson plans in place and most importantly, I understand the necessity of comprehending how people learn differently, and I hone in on this factor and judge accordingly. Although very efficient and driven with my students, I am a very welcoming, happy, relaxed and - most importantly - fun individual, and my first priority is to make my students feel comfortable. I tailor all of my lessons to the student, not to my convenience
