About David
My name is David Brewer and I have been an online ESL English teacher for the more than 5 years and before that I was teaching in class.
I have mainly taught students from China and Korea over the internet and I am proud to say that my students progressed much faster than the average student. I was even a finalist for a company wide best teacher award. From almost 10,000 teachers I was shortlisted to a group of 20 to receive this award.
I have spent more than 5 years studying Chinese (Mandarin) so if need be I will be able to help any Chinese students if they don’t fully understand something.
I am a very vibrant and fun teacher and I focus on getting the students to ask questions, speak for themselves and learn more than just remembering what is in the book.
I am also an expert in public speaking, having spoken to crowds of over 10,000 people, so if you would like, I can also teach you public speaking and debate skills.
