About Jackie

Jackie is a NYC-based actor, singer, and public speaking coach. She's worked with kids since high school (as a camp counselor, summer music teacher, and after-school theater teacher).

Jackie mainly performs in musicals and films, so her knowledge of the current industry--including casting directors, agents, regional auditions, and yearly show seasons--is up-to-date.

When she's not performing, Jackie works as a public speaking and dialect coach, along with her singing coaching. Her truest passions are the voice and helping people find theirs! She's been working as a singing and voice teacher for 7+ years.

About the lesson

Jackie's approach is personal, fun, and educational. She tailors each lesson to the students' needs, making sure they feel comfortable and inspired!

Jackie teaches hour-long sessions. The first half consists of technique and warm-ups, while the second half consists of working on real songs.
- She is adept at helping students (has been working with kids for 8+ years) prepare for auditions, get ready for choir or musical rehearsal, or just find their voice!
- She's a musical theatre nerd and is great at helping actors build their repertoire of audition songs.
- Finally, she's an artist at heart, and loves working with indie singer-songwriters, helping them find their sounds and become more confident in their vocal abilities!

- Jackie also reads music and plays piano, for anyone needing extra support in those areas :)
