About Micaela
I am a professional opera singer, I studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, and I did the career at the Academia del Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. I worked as an opera singer, musical theater, tango, folk and jazz and I have enough experience in both classical and popular artistic business. Born in Milan, I sang classical and gospel repertoire in Italian theaters, when I moved to New York, I worked for 3 years in classical theater and musical theater, in Buenos Aires, I participated in musical theater shows and concerts of tango, Argentine folklore, to then officially dedicate my career to opera, singing in concerts in different theatre and Argentine halls, including the Teatro Colón.

The method is to work a lot with the breathing technique, the foundation of singing is to sing with the air, so as not to make any effort and be able to have a healthy voice, without making differences on the vocal setting necessary for the style you want to approach. There will be around 20 minutes of vocalization and technical work on the voice, then the rest of the lesson will be dedicated to applying the technique on the pieces chosen by the student. My goal as a teacher is that the student gain a solid technique, have freedom and flexibility, and then become independent of the technique so to truly make music with his instrument. The idea is to have fun, relax and for those who want to make a career in singing, learn the ways to sing for hours and never get tired.
