About Jeffrey
I have been playing drums since I was four years old, have been recorded as a studio drummer and have been in several bands. I specialize in funk, blues, jazz, swing, country, and rock n' roll drumming. My favourite drummers and inspirations who have helped forge my love playing the drums include Tito Puente, Bernard Purdie, Mitch Mitchell and Keith Moon. I also play acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica, and tenor banjo and am happy to share and make music with anyone who is willing!

Do you breath? Walk? Run? Does your heart beat? If so, then you have a natural sense of rhythm, and are a natural-born drummer! I am not here to tell you what to do, but how to do what you want to do. I have taught aspiring drummers of all ages and experience levels, and enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of music with everyone. We can work together on the kit at the pace that works best for you to achieve what it is you want to be able to do on the kit. We can utilize standard rudiments and I can even teach you percussion notation (percussion theory and reading) as useful techniques to help move forward with the technical skills required to play.
