About Chiara

I am a photographer and artist; graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, I have been practicing this profession for 5 years with passion. I have experience in fashion photography, real estate, brands in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico. Portraits and still lifes are my passion: I would like to convey to you the joy of capturing good looks and the ability to capture the perfect angle and light. My background allows me to teach you in French, English, Italian and Spanish.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on practice. I will explain the technical basics of photography, of course, but what will make you a good photographer will be training. I will help you to develop a good look, to know how to create and / or recognize a good frame and - technically - to immortalize it thanks to your device. Depending on your wishes, we can explore older shooting and printing techniques (pinhole, cyanotypes) and / or follow the selection and assembly process for a series / portfolio together. Apart from my camera and optics, (which will be our example, but not only: I will adapt to your equipment so that you are independent), I have a cobra flash and two studio flash which we can serve to learn this technique, as well as a silver Mamiya with which we can discover how to use a film. Can't wait to start! :-)

Perfect! Chiara est réellement une superprof. Elle connaît très bien la matière et elle explique avec beaucoup de clarté, précision et patience. J'étais sur le point de laisser tomber la photo, et grâce à elle je continue et je suis super motivée. Je vous recommande vivement de suivre de cours de photo avec elle.
