About Nikita

I am an active concert pianist and music teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I graduated with distinction from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and am currently pursuing an academic degree in the United States.
Alongside teaching, I continue to perform professionally as a concert pianist. My musical background is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Russian piano school, both as a performer and as a teacher.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced and professionally oriented musicians. I teach in both English and Russian.
I believe that every student needs an individual approach. My goal is to help students develop not only their piano technique, but also their musical thinking, independence, confidence, and personal connection with the music they perform.

About the lesson

I offer individual online piano, music theory, ear training, harmony, and music analysis lessons for children and adults.
I am a professional pianist and a graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where I graduated with distinction. I am currently pursuing an academic degree in the United States.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience and have worked with students of different ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced and professionally oriented musicians.
In piano lessons, we can work on technique, musicality, interpretation, sight-reading, and repertoire, with an approach rooted in the traditions of the Russian piano school. I also teach music theory, ear training, harmony, and music analysis, either as separate subjects or as part of piano lessons.
I can also help students prepare for auditions, entrance examinations, music school or university admission, as well as assist with music coursework and assignments.
I don’t use exactly the same approach with every student. Lessons are adapted to each student’s age, current level, musical interests, and individual goals. My aim is not only to help students play better, but also to understand the music they are working on and become more confident and independent musicians.
Lessons are available in both English and Russian and are taught fully online, so students are welcome from anywhere in the world.
Whether you are starting piano from scratch, returning after a long break, looking for help with music theory, or preparing for something more serious, I’ll be happy to hear about your goals and find the right approach for you.
