About Marie
I have been teaching piano for about 5 years and have worked with 80 students privately and about 70 in group classes (that's a total of over 150 students!). I own my own piano studio in Riverside but I also teach children at the University of Redlands and used to help teach beginning piano to adults at Riverside City College. My students have gone on to become teachers themselves, while others have entered (and won) competitions and perform in public regularly. Teaching is my passion!
I also teach music exploration and fundamentals to babies and toddlers ages 0 - 5!

I hold an Associates Degree in Music from Riverside City College School of Music. I also hold my Certificate in Piano Performance and an additional Associates Degree in Fine and Applied Arts from the same institution. I am currently a Senior Piano Performance Major at the University of Redlands School of Music.
One size fits all doesn't work! Instead, I structure each lesson to cater to the student's individual goals and needs! I want each student to have an enjoyable time studying and practicing piano. I encourage students to create their own goals and I assist them in meeting them. I create lesson plans and practice schedules that will be practical and effective for them.

Details
Tuition for different services varies quite a bit. Please contact me to receive a quote for the service you would like (group classes for toddlers and infants, private lessons, web cam lessons, etc)
