About Sarah
As a pianist, I studied piano privately for eighteen years with private teachers including Steven Spooner, Pavlina Dokovska, and Eteri Andjaparidze, and I was offered scholarships at top music conservatories including The Juilliard School, Peabody Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music and Mannes of Music. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance from Mannes School of Music, gaining a thorough knowledge of music technique and theory along with artistic excellence and performance experience. I have performed locally and internationally in places including New York's Steinway Hall, Simone Dinnerstein's Neighborhood Classics Series in Brooklyn, Perugia Italy, China, Kansas City, and Chicago. I have had worked with incredible artists such as Vladimir Feltsman, Nelita True, Boris Slutsky, John Perry, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, and Simone Dinnerstein.
I currently work as a freelance pianist and teacher in the Los Angeles area, and share my love of music with my private students at local music schools.

As a teacher, I want to help my students discover music in a fun, engaging way. I hope to help my students find a love of music through the process of learning and playing in a positive environment while equipping my students to express their individual voice through music. I believe that learning starts with the student, and I aim to teach them a foundation of self-reflective learning through imagination, listening, and asking questions, which will ultimately aid them beyond music to any of their life's endeavors. I currently teach 12 piano students, and would love to teach help even more students find their voice at the piano!
