About Colette

I am a passionate Piano tutor with 10 years of experience helping students learn and enjoy music. My students include school children, college learners, and working professionals who want to improve their skills in a supportive learning environment.

My teaching style emphasizes patience, adaptability, and practical learning. I believe every student has unique potential, and I work to create lessons that help them achieve their personal goals.

My classes cover scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, finger exercises, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students build confidence while developing strong musical skills.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals and music reading. These skills help students become more versatile musicians and deepen their understanding of music.

I am dedicated to helping students reach their full potential while making learning enjoyable and rewarding. Through encouragement and personalized instruction, I help learners achieve lasting success.

About the lesson

My teaching style combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and continuous motivation. I believe that learning piano should develop not only technical ability but also creativity, confidence, and discipline. Every lesson is designed according to the student's individual needs.

Students start with posture, hand position, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and music theory. As their confidence grows, they progress to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and stage preparation.

I explain musical concepts using simple language and practical examples. Students are encouraged to understand what they play, ask questions freely, and develop regular practice habits. Personalized guidance helps every student improve at a comfortable pace.

Students explore classical, pop, movie, devotional, and contemporary music while learning accompaniment and improvisation. These creative activities strengthen musical imagination and confidence.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, ear training, rhythm training, music theory, music appreciation, sight reading, and beginner composition. These additional lessons provide students with balanced musical knowledge.

My mission is to create a positive learning environment where students enjoy every lesson and continue growing as confident musicians.
