About Meera

I am a Psychology researcher currently working in behavioural research in collaboration with UCL. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

In my day to day work, I apply many of the areas of Psychology that students learn about at A-Level, particularly research methods, statistics, behaviour, cognition and psychological theory. This has given me a strong understanding of the subject beyond the textbook, especially when it comes to research methods and the skills students often find most difficult.

I also taught A-Level Psychology in a London school in the few months leading up to final exams. This meant my lessons had to be focused, targeted and impactful, helping students identify gaps quickly, strengthen their exam technique and make the most of the limited revision time available.

I also have experience grading A-Level exam papers, so I understand what examiners are looking for and can help students translate their knowledge into stronger exam answers.

About the lesson

Preparing for your A-Level Psychology exams can be much simpler than it seems, and you don't have to do it alone.

My approach is about focusing on what is actually important for the exam and making the content as clear and manageable as possible. We work through the course chapter by chapter, and I provide clear, structured revision notes covering what you need to know, so you don't have to keep going back through the textbook.

Lessons include plenty of practice with past exam questions, essay planning and specific exam techniques to help you understand what questions are asking for and how to pick up marks. I also share practical tips and shortcuts for remembering difficult content and approaching different question types.

I currently work in psychology and behavioural research in collaboration with UCL and hold an MSc in Psychology. I also have experience teaching A-Level Psychology and grading exam papers, which allows me to focus lessons on both understanding the subject and performing well in the exam.

Lessons are typically one to two hours and are tailored to each student, whether you need to fill gaps in your knowledge, improve your exam technique or prepare for your final exams.
