About Jahaira
I’m a professional dancer and instructor with 20 years of dance experience and 10 years of competitive experience, performing and competing nationally and internationally.
My background includes Ballet, Contemporary, Salsa, Bachata, and Ballroom Dance. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong understanding of technique, musicality, body movement, performance, and how to adapt my teaching to each student.
As an instructor, I’m passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where students can learn without feeling judged or pressured. I believe anyone can learn to dance with the right guidance, consistency, and confidence.
For me, dancing is more than learning steps — it’s about connection, expression, confidence, and enjoying who you become throughout the process.

My lessons are personalized to your goals, experience, and learning style. Whether you are starting from zero or already have dance experience, I will guide you step by step through Salsa and Bachata with a strong focus on technique, musicality, confidence, connection, and natural movement.
We will build strong foundations while helping you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor. Each lesson is designed around your progress, so you can learn at your own pace while still being challenged to grow.
My goal is not only to teach you steps, but to help you understand the dance, feel the music, and truly enjoy the process.
