Professional Singing Teacher with 30+ years experience helping singers to find their real voice and how to sing with power, freedom, and ease.

Dena is the best vocal coach I've ever had. I mean she literally wrote the book on singing (look it up). She has an uncanny knack for pinpointing exactly where your weaknesses are, particularly those that you are unaware of yourself, and turning them into strengths. And she connects at a human level in a way that allows her to bring out the individuality in your singing. I've improved tremendously under her in ways that I never thought I would or could. Highly recommended!

Dena Murray is a world-class singing teacher and vocal coach. I knew of her because of her best-selling books on vocal technique. I came into lessons with pitch problems and poor technique, and in less than a year, she was able to identify and correct the problems holding me back. She also coached me to a method that is very intuitive and natural, no more difficult than the process of speaking. Now, I make money as a singer and am a highly sought after vocalist. She is great not only at approaching singing from a technical perspective but also from an emotional/storytelling perspective and--very importantly--a mental perspective. She understands how to cultivate the right mindset to be the best singer. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dena as a vocal coach for anyone who is interested in finding their true voice, develop proper vocal technique, as well as explore themselves as an artist. I began working with Dena in 2016 when I was referred to her by my record producer to do prep work on my vocals for recording. I initially planned for just a few lessons, but I was so impressed by Dena's dedication to the art of singing and her expansive knowledge of the voice that I continued for the years to come. In addition to helping me with my voice, Dena helped me tremendously build my confidence as a vocalist and artist, and I am so grateful for each and every lesson with her. I can't recommend her enough!
