About Ken
Professional Software Engineer, Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.
I tend to learn best by understanding concepts deeply, and that same approach shapes how I teach. I enjoy helping students get past memorization and reach the point where a difficult idea actually makes sense.

My tutoring style focuses on helping students understand why something works, not just memorizing formulas or steps. I break difficult topics into simple pieces, use intuitive examples, and adjust the explanation based on how each student learns best.
A typical lesson starts by figuring out what the student already understands and where they are getting stuck. From there, we work through the concept together, practice examples step by step, and gradually move toward solving problems independently.
I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, work professionally as a Software Engineer, and am currently studying Electrical Engineering. My background gives me a strong foundation in math, programming, problem solving, and applied STEM topics.
I work with middle school, high school, college, and adult students in subjects including algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, physics, computer science, Python, and programming fundamentals.
My goal is to make difficult material feel understandable and help students build the confidence to solve unfamiliar problems on their own.
