About Victoria
I began writing music and performing it live at the age of 14, and went on to study Popular Music at Goldsmiths University. After leaving with a first class honours degree, I began songwriting full time. As a songwriter my credits have included iTunes no.1 ‘Tied Up’ by Julian Perretta and The Magician, and music in Andrew Bowler's 'Time Freak'.
I also release my own music as an independent artist.
2020 saw the release of my debut self-produced EP, premiering in Complex UK, followed by 10 noughties-nostalgia-oozing tracks in 2022. This second collection quickly amassed support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Spotify’s New Music Friday UK and Apple Music’s New Music Daily, alongside critical acclaim from a vast array of publications such as Fizzy Mag, Lyrical Lemonade and Notion. I also saw support from the iconic Wonderland Magazine, who hosted the premiere of the collection's lead music video ahead of release. The video, in which I re-create the cover art of 10 of the most influential love songs of all time, was nominated for Best Pop Newcomer video at this years UK Music Video Awards.
My latest release has seen an array of TikTok support, with one impression amassing over 2.8 million likes, and 41.6 million views. The track was immediately featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday UK and has been added to over 6.2k playlists since its release.
My favourite aspect of my job is the writing process, and I take a huge amount of pleasure in helping others find this joy too.

These lessons are designed for people of all experience levels and ages - from beginners wanting to get started to intermediate/advanced students wanting to fine tune their work. Everyone is welcome!
With over 10 years of experience writing music, I have many different songwriting techniques. With these various styles under my belt, I will personalise and curate lessons specifically for your needs, and prepare you with the skills to create beautiful music.
My lessons are normally 1hr in length, but if you feel we need more time, I am happy to do a longer session. For those learning on webcam, I am happy to do a shorter lesson too.
