About Noelle

I have over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and a BA in Comparative Literature. My lessons integrate language with the visual arts and architecture of the Spanish-speaking world. Students examine paintings, monuments, and buildings while learning vocabulary and cultural context.

We discuss artistic and historical styles, analyse cultural meaning, and develop descriptive and analytical skills. Lessons encourage observation, interpretation, and thoughtful discussion in Spanish. Students learn to express ideas with clarity and confidence.

About the lesson

My approach focuses on making Spanish useful and enjoyable through food. I guide students through vocabulary for ingredients, dishes, and recipes, plus ordering at restaurants. Lessons use authentic materials like menus, recipes, and cooking videos.

Students practise real-life dialogues and role-plays to develop confidence. I emphasise communication, cultural context, and practical skills. Learning becomes engaging and immersive.

I support Exam Takers and Conversationalists, adapting exercises to their level. Vocabulary, dialogue practice, and cultural insights help learners converse naturally about food.

We explore culinary traditions, regional dishes, and cooking techniques. Lessons are interactive, hands-on, and memorable. You’ll be ordering, describing, and discussing Spanish cuisine like a local.
