About Harvey
I am a dedicated violin instructor with 12 years of experience, passionate about helping students experience the beauty of music. I teach violin to High School students, College students, and elderly learners with a focus on personal growth and skill development.
I have successfully taught around 150-200 students and helped them improve their playing abilities, confidence, and musical expression. My teaching journey has allowed me to create effective methods for students at different levels.
I believe that learning an instrument requires patience, practice, and proper guidance. My lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and enjoyment.
I teach violin techniques, rhythm, music reading, tone improvement, and performance skills. I support students in building confidence and becoming independent learners.
One of my greatest achievements has been helping students achieve progress and enjoy the satisfaction of creating music. Their success inspires me to continue teaching.
I am committed to providing quality violin education and helping students develop a lifelong passion for music.

My aim is to help students master the violin while developing confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for music. I teach using communication, accountability, and integrity to ensure every lesson is enjoyable and effective. Students learn posture, bow control, finger placement, scales, rhythm, tone production, and expressive performance through simple explanations, practical exercises, and regular feedback.
Accountability encourages steady practice and measurable progress, while integrity builds trust, respect, and motivation. Besides violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, beginner keyboard basics, performance preparation, and music appreciation to provide a complete musical education.
