About LaMecca

I'm a US Coast Guard veteran, a mom, and retired from 27 years in the dental field. I've always sought ways to bridge and connect others who come from varying cultures, classes, regions, and talents. As the oldest of 6 and a Gen Xer, this comes naturally to me. Art, the immersion of and practice have been life-changing for me. As someone who battled with PTSD, I found this outlet to be something just as valuable as medication.

My classes are relaxed, explorative, and informative. You will walk away knowledgeable, capable, and confident.
