About Beth
I have been a swim instructor for a long time and have undergone several different trainings and in-services and taught a vast variety of students as young as 2 years old. I am also a certified lifeguard with rescue expirience, further certified for safety with a CPR license that ranges from infants to adults.

Each class, for swimmers of any level (ages 3+ if potty-trained), focuses on what the swimmer needs/wants to learn. I can teach anything from overcoming fears of putting your nose/mouth/face in the water all the way to pre-team level swimming.
A typical lesson plan covers the student’s areas of focus with a special emphasis on safety. I am also a trained and certified Lifegaurd to ensure the utmost safety of my student(s).
My teaching methods involve the tried and tested method of pushing the swimmer to do their ultimate best, while still allowing them to develop a deep-rooted love of the water and the swimming skills to keep themselves safe, while not having them learn anything they aren’t ready for in a thin balance of Where to push or not push them.
