About Andrew
I aim to make every lesson positive, structured, and enjoyable while maintaining a professional standard throughout. Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, building water confidence, or looking to improve your technique, I provide clear guidance, encouragement, and practical feedback at every stage.
For me, successful coaching is about more than learning different strokes. It is about developing confidence, good technique, water awareness, and skills that swimmers can continue to build on. I take pride in creating a supportive environment where students can progress at their own pace and feel proud of their improvements.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, including complete beginners, nervous swimmers, and those who already have experience but want to improve their technique, stamina, confidence, or overall swimming ability.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up and assessment of the swimmer’s current ability. We then work on specific areas such as water confidence, breathing, body position, floating, kicking, strokes, coordination, and technique. I demonstrate each skill clearly, break it into simple steps, and give practical feedback throughout the lesson. We finish by reviewing the progress made and identifying what to focus on next.
