About Kathryn
I am a friendly, patient and dedicated swimming coach with 8 years of experience helping swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water. I believe good coaching is about understanding each student, building trust and creating an environment where they feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
I take pride in being approachable and encouraging, while maintaining a professional and structured approach to every lesson. I enjoy seeing students overcome challenges, learn new techniques and become more confident with every session.
Fun fact about me: I genuinely enjoy celebrating the small improvements because I believe they often lead to the biggest progress. My goal is for every student, to leave each lesson feeling proud of what they have achieved.

My swimming lessons are structured, encouraging and tailored to each swimmer’s individual ability, confidence and goals. With 8 years of coaching experience, I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students can develop strong swimming skills while feeling comfortable and supported in the water.
I begin each lesson by assessing the swimmer’s current ability and identifying the areas that need the most attention. Lessons typically include a warm-up, focused technique work, practical swimming exercises and time to practise and reinforce new skills. I use clear demonstrations, simple explanations and constructive feedback to help students understand not only what to improve, but how to improve it.
