About Autumn
It is my goal to present a lesson to you in a way that connects and makes sense. You should leave a session feeling better equipped to tackle an assignment, test, or continue with your current lesson in your school classroom. I can give you new insight and ways to think about a problem, even relating it to your personal interests.
I am a very experienced and passionate middle school teacher. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Math Education from The University of Michigan, a Master's in Science Education from Concordia University, and a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.

With 21 years of middle school teaching experience, I have seen curriculum and teaching methods come and go. As a result, I have fine-tuned my trade into what works best for multiple learning styles. I can tie in real-world examples for both math and science so that the material is relatable. My lessons are geared toward my students as there is no one-size-fits-all teaching method. I specialize in middle school math and science, specifically Pre-Algebra, Pre-Geometry, Algebra, General Science, and Earth Science.
