About Gachon
Hello! I’m Matthieu Gachon, a professional tennis player with a UTR 12 ranking and extensive experience both competing and coaching. I have worked with juniors and adults at all levels, from beginners discovering the game to competitive players preparing for tournaments.
I bring a professional approach to every session, combining technical instruction, tactical insight, and realistic match play. My focus is on helping each player reach their goals while making training engaging, structured, and effective.
Students can expect clear guidance, consistent feedback, and personalized sessions designed to maximize improvement and confidence on the court. My experience as a high-level player allows me to understand the challenges athletes face and provide practical solutions for rapid progress.

My teaching method focuses on three key areas:
• Technical improvement (strokes, footwork, consistency)
• Tactical understanding (point construction, decision-making)
• Match intensity (live-ball, realistic game situations)
A typical session is structured but flexible depending on the player:
• Warm-up and rhythm building
• Technical drills adapted to the player’s level
• Live-ball or match play situations
• Feedback and adjustments throughout the session
What sets me apart is my experience as a competitive player combined with my ability to adapt to any level. I have worked with juniors and adults, from beginners discovering tennis to competitive players looking to improve their performance. My sessions are always focused, dynamic, and tailored to the individual.
