About Juanra
Hello, I am a professional lyrical tenor, I have sung all kinds of repertoire from swing and rock to opera and musical theater for the last 15 years. I've been lucky enough to sing as a soloist in Mexico, the United States and Germany.

My classes are structured as 2 hour sessions. Why? The reason is simple: one hour I dedicate entirely to give each student an holistic understanding of the old Italian technique while on the other we focus on refining repertoire. There is no use in vocalizing just for the sake of it.

Details
It is of paramount importance that the student knows that these sessions are designed to last for 2 hours; that is, $700 MXN (35 USD) per session. The reason is simple: an hour is not enough time for the student to internalize technical concepts and to put these into practice. All my greatest respect and admiration for all my colleagues out there who teach in a different way but this format seems to me to be a more respectful and honest approach, since the student never pays with money - he or she pays, ultimately, with TIME and that is much more valuable. Likewise, the student's commitment has to be total since much of the "singing" will be done at home because of issues of latency with online formats.
What does it take to be a good singer, you ask? To know how to sing, nothing else.
