About Marcel
French-American, native speaker of both languages and fluent in 4 others!
Language learning has been a part of my life since early childhood, and I started tutoring as a teenager.
My career as a multilingual translator stems from a lifelong love of languages, and it has been endlessly rewarding.
After focusing on translation full-time these past 5 years, I'm looking to get back to teaching others so I can share my passion!

Whether you have 1 month to learn the basics before your first trip to France, or you have a whole year to brush up on your French from your college years, we'll come up with a plan that makes the most sense for you to achieve your goals.

Once we've established your goals and a timeline for achieving them, we'll focus on what matters most to you.
If you're a complete beginner, we'll go over some basic survival phrases first, with the goal of having you start speaking French from your very first lesson!
Together, we'll find ways to make French a part of your daily routine. Four basic pillars make up any language: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. We'll find fun ways to incorporate these into your French learning routine!
