About RubySage
I have 17 years of experience in teaching the beautiful art form of Belly Dance, from beginner, intermediate to advanced levels and just as many years as a dance performer. After identifying a frustration among beginner dancers in correct execution of the exciting new positions and moves, and noticing the importance of a solid foundation in some intermediate dancers and because I love to share what I know, I knew what had to be done. And that is why Eight years ago developed and wrote a curriculum for Belly Basics for Beginners. I adapted it from Egyptian, modern and tribal fusion styles of this dance. I added my own unique style into the mix, creating a 'user friendly' and easy to understand,(with step by step tutorials) experience for all new Bellydancers to benefit from.
