About Joshua
I am a musician born and raised in Los Angeles. 17+ years ago, I began to study the trumpet. I attended the University of North Texas, where I was a member of the Grammy-nominated ensemble the One O’Clock Lab Band. After my time at UNT, I received my master’s in jazz studies from the University of Southern California. I am currently a freelance musician, bandleader, and educator.

Personalized to the individual student. Lessons will cover a mix of trumpet fundamentals, music theory, jazz improvisation, and composition, tailored to your experience and interest.
We will go over exercises, that focus on each of these skillsets, play duets, and learn repertoire together.
