About Mikaela
I am a professional tutor with seven years of experience and an Honours BSc. in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto. I love science and have a huge passion for teaching and helping students get engaged and get excited about learning! I have helped hundreds of students over the years excel and reach their goals of being accepted in various programs, universities, and colleges, while showing them that learning can be interesting and fun.

Through my many years of tutoring I have learnt how to build a multi-faceted approach focusing on visual and verbal learning, using diagrams and demonstrations to allow students to reach the best understanding they can. I am patient, outgoing, and enthusiastic, and use real life examples and 'fun facts!' to keep students engaged and interested in their subject.
