About Peter

I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford and have 5+ years’ experience in tuition and education with the primary age group. I am a professional tutor specialising in primary education and entrance exams preparation for entry into independent schools, for all stages 7+ to 13+. I have a calm and encouraging approach which helps support students to achieve their full potential in admissions tests into highly esteemed institutions.

About the lesson

Entrance Exam preparation and Interview preparation (7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+, 12+ and 13+) I have led dozens of students through the process of entrance exam preparation, having covered the following schools: St Paul's Girls, City of London, St Paul's, Tiffin, Godolphin and Latymer, Dulwich, St John’s Leatherhead, KCS Wimbledon, Hampton, Emanuel, Reeds School, and many more. All exam boards and schools are different, and my tutoring helps to bring clarity to the process of entrance exam preparation. I aim to provide a clear, manageable timeline for both students and parents and thus meet my clients’ academic goals. Whether the client is seeking a few weeks of revision prior to exams, or a longer-term development plan – increasingly opted for these days - of over 12-24 months, my classes will certainly be effective. Primary Education I have extensive educational experience with the primary age group and am therefore well equipped with methods appropriate for different learner and personality types, including common SEN requirements. I aim to get the most out of the time in our classes, whether the client requires attention on increasing concentration, enjoyment, and comprehension of the school curriculum, or simply to have their academic results pushed above and beyond their cohort.
